WHO WE ARE
AFGE Local 2152 is a local chapter of American Federal of Government Employees (AFGE), AFL-CIO, representing bargaining unit employees at the Reno VA medical center and regional office. We are dedicated to advocating for the rights and benefits of our members, ensuring fair treatment in the workplace, and fostering a strong and supportive community. Our chapter is committed to upholding the values of integrity, solidarity, and service to our nation's veterans and their families.
WHAT WE DO
Our primary mission is to ensure that every member of our bargaining unit is well-informed about their rights and entitlements within the workplace. We are dedicated to offering training through our Lunch & Learn programs that equip our members with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate their roles effectively. Additionally, we aim to foster a positive work environment and enhance the overall quality of life within our community, working collaboratively to identify and implement meaningful improvements that benefit everyone involved.
