OUR UNION, OUR POWER, OUR FUTURE

ree

The Trump administration has wasted no time moving to terminate our hard-won negotiated contracts after an appeals court lifted the injunction that had been protecting us from his anti-union executive order.

As of now, contracts have already been canceled at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Environmental Protection Agency, Food Safety and Inspection Service, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. This is a direct attack on federal workers and the rights we’ve fought for decades to secure.

AFGE National President Everett Kelley made it clear: these cancellations are happening because of our aggressive and successful advocacy. We are effective. We are powerful. And because we fight for our members and the American people every day, we’ve drawn the attention—and the opposition—of those who want to silence us.

But make no mistake: we are not backing down.

Here’s what you can do right now from home:

  • Call and write your members of Congress. Tell them you and your family vote—and you demand full restoration of union rights.

  • Spread the word. Encourage coworkers, family, and friends to stand with AFGE and defend the rights of working people.

  • Get involved. If you’re ready to do more, reach out directly to President Dr. Jeanine Packham for next steps.

We cannot sit on the sidelines while our rights are stripped away. Every voice matters. Every action counts. And together, we are still fighting—week after week—inside the halls of Congress and across this nation.

This is our Union. This is our fight. And we will not be broken.
